The model represents a cargo vessel with Trechantiri type of hull.
Trechantiri is the most common type of vessels in Greece still being built in Greek shipyards. It was named of a similar Byzantine vessel called “Trochandira”.
In their era could be rigged as one of the following: Gaff schooner, topsail schooner, schooner brig or “Bratchera” (two large square sails).
The specific model is rigged as “Schooner”.
