A characteristic type of vessel that we can see it even today in Lesbos island. Its name comes from the diminutive of "Perama" as it presents common similarities with this type of vessel .
So as in "Perama" vessel and here as well, the gunwales stop before the cutwater and sternpost, however without the characteristic " counter " of the cutwater (existed in "Perama" vessel).
It can reach the 25 feet long and its use is mainly for coastal fishery.
The specific model is rigged with a simple form of “Lateen sail”.
